Makayla Dupre
Makayla Dupre was born in Whidbey island Washington on December 7, 1999 but was shortly relocated to Louisiana where they were surrounded by art, culture, and music destined to the life of an artist.
Their journey began as a traditional artist with a focus on printmaking. They spent four years in print studios before growing an increasing interest and love for tattooing.
Mak found themselves in New Orleans in 2020 where they started cultivating their craft at Forbidden Art Tattoo and Pigment. They moved to Lafayette in 2021 after hurricane Ida. Since then they’ve been growing into their style and creating space that is welcoming and encouraging to all people.
They enjoy illustrative, fine line, dot work, neotraditional, horror, and gender affirming tattoos but is open to all styles and always up for pushing and challenging themselves.
