We do not quote tattoos over the phone or web. It's hard to give an accurate quote before we have it drawn and sized up.

We do not tattoo individuals under the age of 18. A state issued photo ID or drivers license must be present at the time of your appointment.

Absolutely. All the artists at Be True are licensed and certified to practice tattooing professionally in the state of Louisiana.

We also follow strict practices to avoid any cross-contamination. Following our aftercare instructions not only guarantees your safety, but also ensures the long-lasting quality of your tattoo.

The pain when getting tattooed varies depending on the size and placement of the tattoo. The majority of first time tattoo collectors say the pain was much less than they were expecting.

1. After 3-4 hours remove the bandage in a clean environment.
2. Wash the tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap.
3. Allow the tattoo to air dry 10 to 15 minutes before applying tattoo aftercare such as unscented lotion or aquaphor healing ointment.
4. After the first day, wash the tattoo at least twice per day. First thing in the morning and at night before bed.
5. Apply a thin layer or lotion or aquaphor 3-5 times per day for the next 2 weeks.
-Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight and tanning beds for 3 weeks.
-Avoid soaking the tattoo in water (besides showering) for 3 weeks.
-Do not pick or scratch at your tattoo during the healing process. Peeling and flaking is a natural part of the healing.
-Do not bandage the tattoo during the healing process.
-Do not use ointment such as neosporin, vaseline, or bactine. This could damage your tattoo and remove color.
-Do not listen to how your friends tell you to take care of your tattoo.
